Gotta Start Somewhere…

…and so it is here with two small Mr Fothergill’s boxes – one a mini herb garden and one a mini vegetable garden of mixed salad leaves. My husband grabbed them from Bunnings for me one day when he was out on his lunch break and they have been sitting in the garage until about an hour ago. Just hadn’t gotten around to opening them up, which is a shame really as they were super easy and super quick to set up! Everything was in the box, it was simply a matter of opening the bag of compost, putting it in the foam box, sprinkling the seeds on, putting in the labels, covering the seeds with a bit more compost and spraying lightly with water. Done in 5 minutes! Anyway, this is my first real attempt to grow anything so see how it goes…
